Start with what you have
Keep a few current favorites where your child can see and reach them. Store the rest safely out of the way. This is about making space, not buying a new system.
Keep one familiar favorite
A much-loved toy can stay. Rotation does not need to mean changing everything, and it does not need to follow a strict calendar.
Notice before you swap
If the same little set is creating new stories all week, leave it out. If the shelf has become background scenery, bring back one or two forgotten favorites.
Make cleanup part of the room
A low basket or an easy-to-reach shelf gives each toy a clear home. Choose safe furniture and follow the manufacturer guidance for anchoring it.
