What cookies and browser storage are
Cookies are small text files a website saves in your browser. Local storage and session storage are similar browser features that keep small pieces of information on your device. We call all of these “cookies” in this policy.
Cookies we use on our website
We use only strictly necessary storage. We do not set advertising, social media, or analytics cookies.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| kiddos-bag-v1 | Local storage (essential) | Remembers the toys and quantities in your bag. | Until you clear it or empty your bag |
| kiddos-cookie-consent-v1 | Local storage (essential) | Remembers your cookie choice. | Until you reset or clear it |
| kiddos-checkout-attempt, kiddos-order-* | Session storage (essential) | Prevents duplicate checkouts and lets this browser confirm your payment. | Until you close the browser tab |
Stripe and Square cookies
When you continue to payment, you go to a checkout page run by Stripe or Square. Those providers set their own cookies for security, fraud detection (including detecting card testing), remembering details if you use Stripe Link autofill, and operating and measuring their services. Square may also use tracking technologies on its checkout pages as described in its cookie notice.

Your choices
When you first visit, our banner lets you choose “Accept” or “Essential only.” Because we use only essential storage, both choices keep the store working; the essential storage above cannot be switched off without breaking the bag and checkout.
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings, and you can manage Stripe’s and Square’s cookies from their pages. Blocking the payment providers’ cookies may prevent checkout from working.
